Mahboobeh Noroozi was born in 1977 in Tehran, Iran where she resides and works as well. In 2001, she received her degree in painting from “Faculty of Art and Architecture of Islamic Azad University of Tehran” and the following year she, launched her first solo exhibition. She has attended 5 solo and several group exhibitions so far.
In an effort to scrutinize her theme’s innate essence, she depicts the typical subjects that often sound familiar and yet forgotten. Her predominant technique in painting is colored pencil that, like her subjects, is a quite common and palpable tool.
The specific implementation of tools and the meticulous manner of providing details pave the way for more meditation and demonstrate both her outlook and her desire to find a more influential expression. As the consequence of these minute details, she goes into raptures that let some works unfinished as if unwilling to leave the joy and end the never_ending path of self_discovery.
Her serious concern is the passage of time that she deals with in parallel with others. Her approach of representation with colored pencil demands more time and patience and laboriously projects the passage of time and also makes the audience stand in constant need of reevaluation.

محبوبه نوروزی متولد۱۳۵۶ در تهران است و در تهران کار و زندگی می کند؛ در سال ۱۳۸۰ در رشته نقاشی از دانشکده هنر و معماری دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی تهران فارغ التحصیل شد و اولین نمایشگاه انفرادی خود را در سال ۱۳۸۱ برگزار کرد. شرکت در پنج نمایشگاه انفرادی و چندین نمایشگاه گروهی از جمله فعالیتهای او تاکنون است.
او نقاش سوژه های آشنایی است که اغلب به چشم عادی شده و از یاد رفته اند و وی سعی بر کنکاش در جوهره ی درونی آنها دارد. تکنیک غالب آثار او مدادرنگی است که همانند سوژه هایش ابزاری ملموس و آشناست.
در چگونگی پرداخت جزئیات و نحوه ی بکارگیری ابزار که شیوه نگرش وی را باز می نمایاند، راهی به سوی تعمق و تأثیرگذاری بیشتر در بیان ذهنیاتش می جوید و اجرای ناتمام در برخی آثار نیز نشانگر عدم تمایل به اتمام لذت و خلسه ای است که در نتیجه پرداخت ها به دست می آید تا مبادا مسیر بی انتهای کشفِ درون پایان یابد.
دغدغه ی اصلی او گذر زمان است که به موازات ذهنیات دیگرش به آن می پردازد. شیوه ی او در بازنمایی با مدادرنگی _که صبر و زمان بیشتری می طلبد _ نیز با مداومت و ریاضت گونگی اش نه تنها گذر زمان را به رخ می کشد که مخاطب را به تعریف کردن دوباره آن نیازمند می کند.
